Waving goodbye to Ardrossan as Matt begins his 500 Miles challenge.

Good luck to CWU member Matt Kerr as he begins his gruelling 500-mile challenge in 3 days to raise funds for CWUHA.

Matt started his journey at 5:30 am today from his sister’s house in Ardrossan, Scotland. It is on the same street corner where his dad, Andy Kerr, grew up.

After covering 178 miles, Matt’s first overnight stop will be in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Next, he’ll travel 169 miles to Kidderminster, then 153 miles to Bournemouth. There, CWU Conference delegates will give him a warm welcome.

As his sister Mandy said, “The wind direction isn’t meant to be in his favour today, but he will absolutely smash it. My dad would be so proud of Matt for such an amazing cause”.

If you’d like to support Matt, please consider sponsoring his journey. Every donation helps. Use the link below to contribute.
