Charity really does begin at home when it comes to donating hundreds of beds no longer needed at Bay Field Hospital. They will be used to help tackle bed poverty – the true extent of which is now emerging in the Swansea Bay area @WGHealthandCare https://sbuhb.nhs.wales/news/swansea-bay-health-news/struggling-families-can-rest-a-little-easier-thanks-to-field-hospital-bed-donations/
And I'm even more chuffed. What an honour! 😊❤😊
Excited to welcome Mel & Julia to the team!
I said we had to help in some way... So pleased to hear that a number of surplus beds from @SwanseabayNHS field hospital have reached refugee camps in #Moldova thanks to @cwuha Plus we're ready distributing beds to families & those in greatest need in our own communities. https://twitter.com/cwuha/status/1522267246680326146

Eric's latest update from Moldova 🇲🇩 On Sat morning Snejana & 3 other ladies who are Ukrainian refugees came from Riscani to Balti to help purchase food for the refugees in Chisnau. Eric loaded his poor car creaking from the overload and headed of to Chisnau.
Statement from one of our trustees, Eric Parker, who is currently in Moldova. ‘Yesterday I loaded my car with aid for refugees of up to 20 families & delivered it to a centre in Chisinău. Tomorrow I will be returning with food & purchasing more to sustain them for a few days.’
#CWU2022 so my debut speech for the cwu was emotional as anything. I wanted to share it with anyone and everyone because I know I'm not the only one affected by miscarriage and the injustice from companies who don't give paid leave after it. Here's to shaping the work places✊️
We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall at conference & donated / affiliated. We managed to raise a whopping £1,110 for the CWUHA & all of that money will go towards funding our projects in the UK & abroad!
On Monday night we were honoured to receive a plaque from Dave Ward in recognition of 25 yrs of charity work. It was an honour to be recognised & lovely to see people who have volunteered and been on convoys come up to receive the award alongside our trustees. #CWU2022
We are also holding our AGM at conference on: Wednesday 27th April Venue Bayview Suite Bournemouth International Centre Commencing at 1pm. Refreshments will be provided at this event, so please feel free to come along. Any enquiries please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
We’re running low on some of our goodies with only 2 clocks & 4 caps left, so make sure you head over to our stall if you want to get your hands on one! We’re also still raffling off our Shevchenko shirt, tickets are £2 each and are available at our stall. #CWU2022
A big thank you to you and your colleagues for making this happen. Great team work 👏
