RUNNING FOR AFRICA

The CWUHA A.G.M was held during the 2006 CWU annual conference which took
place in Bournemouth. The vast throngs of CWUHA supporters were emotionally
moved when listening to the presentation given by Sarah Lloyd a West
Midlands school teacher.

Sarah Grogan, a Simpson Millar solicitor who also worked in Tanzania
introduce Sarah Lloyd to CWUHA.Sarah Lloyd had spent six months of her own
time teaching children in Tanzania. She was invited to speak at the A.G.M,
resulting in many branches and individuals volunteering to sponsor the
education of Tanzanian children.See the article "OUT OF AFRICA"

The sponsorship is vital but without the teachers to guide the children is
meaningless. This is why Sarah Lloyd is desperate to return and finish off
the job that she started.  In order to accomplish this she will need to
raise a great deal of money for air fares and living money, etc.

She is pictured wearing a CWUHA tee-shirt whilst completing the 2006
Edinburgh marathon, which was paid for by CWUHA. This was her very first
marathon, finishing in a very respectful time of 3Hrs 40Mins.

Sarah needs sponsorship herself to be able to return to Tanzania. If any one
out there would like to assist this selfless young lady to continue to
educate the children of Tanzania please send your donations via CWUHA or
directly to Sarah at:
